MCA Alberta offers education and training programs through a variety of learning opportunities designed to meet unique mechanical and service contractor needs. This is accomplished through member meetings, short seminars and full day courses. These feature guest presenters on broad industry topics, product specific technical training, HR and other soft skills training, business skills and succession planning.
Programs are designed specifically for owners and senior management, service managers and technicians, HR leaders, frontline field and office staff to keep the entire team current and to help grow your career.
“I have taken estimating courses from MCA in the past. Was very impressed with how much content was included in the course and the instructor was incredibly skilled with the course content and beyond. I highly recommend taking this course if you’re looking to build on your future in construction!”

Construction Career Expo- Volunteers Needed
October 23, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 2:00 pm MDTVolunteer
This Expo is a unique opportunity for students to explore the wide variety of career options available in the construction industry and to learn about these careers through interactive and engaging displays. Over the past decade, the Expo has grown to expose thousands of students to the construction industry through a variety of hands-on and virtual reality exhibits.
MCA will have a booth at the 13th Annual Construction Career Expo next month. We are planning to have a pipe connecting activity (6” ft plex hoola hoop) for the students, with enough pipe, connectors and tools being donated for about 500+ students to participate. We need people to help set up and prep material as well volunteers to assist the students with the activity.
Please let Lisa know if you can volunteer. We have 3 shifts available:
Set up 8:00 AM-10:00 AM
AM shift 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
PM Shift 11:30 AM-2:30 PM
