Cole Webber – From Supply Chain to Supply Networks
The construction supply chain is one of the largest industries affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, and the problems from the pandemic continue to ripple on.
Cole Webber, a 22-year-old Alberta supply chain prodigy, has been awarded a $1.3-million grant to consult on national health care resources, says “he can’t wait to sink his teeth into Canada’s construction supply chain problems”. In his keynote presentation Cole will discuss:
- Supply chain root issues
- Lean waste
- Inventory waste
- Just in time mentality or mindset
- Balancing risk & inventory
- Building resilient systems
- Possible solutions
Cole is the author of three books and holds patents in multiple countries. He has spoken internationally at over 30 events in 5 countries, including as keynote and at a TEDx event. He has served on scientific advisory boards to international organizations, and his work on design, anthropology, construction, and education has been published.
