MCA Alberta offers education and training programs through a variety of learning opportunities designed to meet unique mechanical and service contractor needs. This is accomplished through member meetings, short seminars and full day courses. These feature guest presenters on broad industry topics, product specific technical training, HR and other soft skills training, business skills and succession planning.
Programs are designed specifically for owners and senior management, service managers and technicians, HR leaders, frontline field and office staff to keep the entire team current and to help grow your career.
“I have taken estimating courses from MCA in the past. Was very impressed with how much content was included in the course and the instructor was incredibly skilled with the course content and beyond. I highly recommend taking this course if you’re looking to build on your future in construction!”

MCA Update – issues, programs and member Services
MCA Alberta President Tim Padfield and Executive Director Russ Evans will present the MCA Annual Year-in-Review, providing details on the association’s activities, programs and accomplishments. They will also introduce some of the hot topics that are currently irritating contractors in a continuing tough market. This will lead into a member round table discussion.
There will be opportunity to bring forward industry issues and concerns that are directly impacting your business. Have input into your association’s priorities and seek common ground solutions that MCA can represent on behalf of its members.
Members have been asking for this opportunity as there are a growing number of issues that are negatively impacting mechanical contractors in all sectors. Plan to attend and come prepared to participate. The format for discussions will be determined based on the participants.
