MCA Alberta offers education and training programs through a variety of learning opportunities designed to meet unique mechanical and service contractor needs. This is accomplished through member meetings, short seminars and full day courses. These feature guest presenters on broad industry topics, product specific technical training, HR and other soft skills training, business skills and succession planning.
Programs are designed specifically for owners and senior management, service managers and technicians, HR leaders, frontline field and office staff to keep the entire team current and to help grow your career.

Matthew Robinson – Owner
In 2012, Matthew brought his broad experience to Pitt Meadows Plumbing, and has since been involved in many major enterprises. Most notably, the Rogers South and West Towers, Capstone, Emily Carr University of Art & Design, Parq Casino Resort, and most recently The City of Lougheed Phase 1. In October 2019, Matthew won the VRCA U40 Excellence in Construction award for his business development and ability to build strong relationships with both clients and the PMP team.
Matt Main- BIM Manager
Matt has been part of the BIM team since 2013. He received a promotion to BIM Manager shortly afterwards. Matt has provided leadership to the growing team of BIM Modellers and works to streamline the BIM processes as it relates to estimating, P3 collaboration, fabrication and software innovations.
Sam Revel- Sr. Prefabrication Manager
Sam began work in Mechanical Contracting 10 years ago ‘on the tools’ for a prefabrication company in the UK before emigrating to Canada in 2016. He holds a Bachelors in Building Services Engineering, is registered with the Engineering Council and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers.
