Membership applications

Choose the membership type that fits your company.

MCA Alberta offers three membership pathways: Contractor, Associate, and Affiliate. Select the category that best describes your business and complete the application online.

Contractor Membership

For mechanical contractors working in Alberta’s plumbing or mechanical contracting business.

Annual dues are based on prior year employee insurable earnings.

  • Tier 1 under $400,000: $875
  • Tier 2 under $1,000,000: $1,250
  • Tier 3 under $1,600,000: $1,750
  • Tier 4 under $2,200,000: $2,550
  • Tier 5 under $2,800,000: $3,350
  • Tier 6 $2,800,000 and over: $4,250

Associate Membership

For wholesalers, suppliers, or manufacturers that sell or produce materials and products for contractor members.

Annual dues:

  • Minimum annual dues for each Alberta location: $550 plus GST
  • Two or more locations: $1,000 plus GST

Affiliate Membership

For organizations connected to the mechanical contracting industry, including related sub-trades, professional firms, institutions, software providers, and other approved industry partners.

Annual dues:

  • Minimum annual dues for each Alberta location: $550 plus GST
  • Two or more locations: $1,000 plus GST
