3. Can be described as ethical, innovative, and socially responsible
4. Actively engage in their industry beyond the everyday business, striving to make their industry better for all
5. Engaged in their community

Industry Trailblazer Award – Company

MCA is looking for nominations of Mechanical Contracting Companies that are recognized for their ability to thrive, innovate and evolve in a competitive, fast paced industry environment while demonstrating the following attributes:

1. Successfully delivering high quality services to their clients
2. Have an outstanding safety record and low employee turnover
3. Can demonstrate a corporate commitment to Environment, Social and Governance awareness
4. Consistently evaluate and apply new technology, practices, and innovations
5. Considered a role model company for the next generation of mechanical contractors
6. Is a member of MCA Alberta

Next Generation Leaders – Outstanding 2026 3rd Year Apprentice

MCA is looking for nominations of 3rd year apprentices who are recognized as emerging leaders in the mechanical trades. Individuals who demonstrate the following attributes:

Prize for this award will be the 4th year of school tuition paid.

1. Shows a strong aptitude for learning and applying new skills
2. Has an outstanding safety record and strong work ethic
3. Has a strong record of mentoring those being supervised
4. Respected by their supervisors and work colleagues
5. Seeks out additional training opportunities
6. Engaged in their industry and community
7. Considered a role model for the next generation of apprentices
8. Works for an MCA Alberta Member Company

Next Generation Leaders – Outstanding 2026 Journeyperson (Field Level)

MCA is looking for nominations of Journeypersons who are recognized as emerging leaders in the mechanical trades. Individuals who demonstrate the following attributes:

1. Shows a strong aptitude for learning and seeks out training opportunities
2. Open to new ideas and applying new skills, technologies, and innovations
3. Has an outstanding safety record and strong work ethic
4. Has a strong record of mentoring those being supervised
5. Respected by their supervisors and work colleagues
6. Engaged in their industry and community
7. Considered a role model for the next generation of apprentices
8. Works for an MCA Alberta Member Company
